I’m known as TTL speedlight guy. Heck, I even wrote a book on it (order yours now at Amazon!). So I’ve always been a little snobbish towards the cheaper, non-brand name speedlights. In many cases, I was justified as the build quality, features and overall performance just weren’t up to professional standards, in my opinion....
Well researched, well written, and, well worth the read. Looking forward to future reviews.
Hi Michael
Couldn’t see it in the review, wondered if the flash gun has SU4 mode built in?
Thanks
Paul
The flash does have standard S1 and S2 optical slave modes, which are the genetic equivalents to SU4.

at photokina 2014, Godox showed the V860N and V860C speedlights, which are ettl/ittl, again one reason more to go for Godox… like i did 🙂

Michael,
Thanks for taking the time to review the flashes. I was wondering if your opinion has changed after using them for a while? Thanks!!!
Hi Scott. I’ve been using them solidly for a year and I love them! I have six that I use in conjunction with the AD360s. That’s my studio and on location lighting setup.
